RED CARPET REVIEW: Men of the Grammy’s 2020

As we find ourselves mid-way into award season, we stumble upon one of the most prestigious award shows in the music history, the Grammys. A lot is expected as far as attire is concerned, but shockingly, more men seemed to step up to the plate rather than their counterparts. These celebs came out with bold colors, interesting textures, and inventive silhouettes that seem to embody a new era of men’s fashion.

Shawn Mendez wears Louis Vuitton. The waistcoat and dainty pocket watch detail makes this look feel so polished and refined, that Mendez doesn’t even need a tie. Not to mention the impeccable tailoring.

John Legend wears Alexander McQueen. Here Legend plays with lines and asymmetry, showing that the Egot winner isn’t afraid to stand out and take risks.

Here model Shaun Ross plays with texture in this fully beaded pearl ensemble. Ross completes the look with fully beaded pearl boots as well as pearl earrings.

Guapdad 4000 wears an oversized Rick Owens suit. He created an iconic moment by accessorizing the suit with a 10-foot durag that had its own train. The durag was created by Charles K Jones and was a statement piece in and of itself.

Diplo and Orville Peck are seen in Dior Men. The matching oversized belt buckles and cowboy hats helps give this pair a cohesive modern western look.

Lil NasX stays true to his Old Town Road roots in an all pink leather ensemble by Versace. Nas accents the bold bubble gum pink with gold jewelry accents on the boots, the hat, his rings, as well as the jacket and harness underneath. He completes the look with two wrist cuffs printed in the iconic Giovanni Versace gold chain fabric.
